Daniel P. Fish Watervliet – Daniel P. Fish passed away peacefully on July 29th with his family by his side. Born in Troy, Dan was the son of the late Francis and Joan Gliosco Fish and was the husband of Mary Beth Rider-Fish. Beloved father of Andrew (Theresa Anderson) Fish, Daniel Miller, Angelina Adamovich-Fish and Zachary Frenger; brother of Robert (Jeanne) Fish and Wendy (Michael Potyrala) Cook; stepchildren David (Daniella Santiago) Rider and Jessica (Christopher Fuentes) Romano. Dan is also survived by his grandchildren, Jaxon Rider, Jace Rider and Daniel Franco; his in-laws, Richard (Herkie) Rider, Wendy and Archie DeCrescenzo, Kelly and David Barker and Michael Cook and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Dan proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a proud member of his beloved Watervliet Community, a member of the 1981 Watervliet High School Graduating Class and was always cheering for the various Watervliet sports teams. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Dan also enjoyed motorcycles and automobiles. Dan will be missed by his family and so many friends. In addition to his parents, Dan was predeceased by Diane Rider. Dan’s family would like to thank the staff at Samaritan Hospital ICU and the Watervliet Paramedics for their compassionate care. Also thank you to Mandy Webb of Community Care and Wendy DeCrescenzo for their support and assistance with Dan’s care. Family and friends are invited to visit with Dan’s family on Wednesday, 5-7 p.m. in the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home, LLC, Watervliet In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Research or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
