David Harris was a valued District Governor on our NYS & Bermuda Lions council of Governors during 2001-2002. He was always ready to participate with a gregarious demeanor and a cheerful smile. It was my pleasure and good fortune to know and work with him. A contribution to the NYS LIONS FOUNDATION will be made in his name. PAST DISTRICT GOVERNOR DANIEL H LINK

I am sending my sincere condolences to your family. Mr.Harris was one of my favorite teachers at Granville High School. I remember him as being a very gentle, nice, genuine person who was always willing to help out if we were having trouble with Chemistry (not a favorite subject of mine.) He also took my passport pictures so I could participate in the Lion's Club exchange student program in which I made a life long friend from Finland. We stopped in to see Mr. Harris when she came to visit me in America several years later. Mr. Harris has impacted so many young lives in a positive manner and he is remembered fondly.
