George W. Quackenbush

Quackenbush, George W. Quackenbush, George W.-Menands- George W. Quackenbush passed away on June 23rd, 2017 following a brief illness. Mr. Quackenbush was a son of the late Edward and Caroline Ratalsky Quackenbush. He had lived in Menands for the past several years and was an accomplished artist. He is survived by his siblings Lloyd (Bonnie) Ratalsky, Verna (late Francis) McGivern and Rose Mary (John) Marra. Survivors also include his niece and caregiver, Bonnie Goldstein as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers John and James Quackenbush. Friends are invited to visit with George's family on Tuesday June 27, 2017 from 4 to 6 pm at the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home, LLC 1855 12th Avenue, Watervliet. The funeral service will follow visitation at 6 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private in Memory Gardens, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the food pantry at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 2425 7th Avenue, Watervliet, NY 12189 would be appreciated.
