Kateri Place

Kateri A. Dunbar Place, 64, died on Wednesday May 15, 2013 following a brief illness. Born in Watervliet, she was the daughter of the late Virginia (Murphy) and Edward Dunbar. Beloved wife of Kenneth M. Place Sr. Educated in Troy schools, Mrs. Place was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Shrine/Parish. In addition to her husband she is the loving mother of Kenneth M Place Jr. Kimberly (Brian) Deucker, Keith Place and Pricilla Place. Grandmother of Taylor Place and Ian Deucker. Sister of Patrick (Linda) Dunbar. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers James Dunbar, Dennis (Barbara) Dunbar and Edward Dunbar. Kateri will be greatly missed, but her family is comforted in knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones who have passed before her. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 20, 2013, 8:30 a.m. from the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home, LLC 1855 12th Avenue, Watervliet, thence to St. Anthony of Padua Shrine/Parish, 28 State Street, Troy at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday May 19, 2013 between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. Those who wish may make contributions to St. Anthony of Padua Parish.
