Laura A. Bismarck

Bismarck, Laura (Laurie) Laura Bismarck (Laurie) 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29th 2014 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's hospital in Albany. Laurie was born on November 15th 1954 in Los Angles, California to Dwayne and Lura Carlton. Laurie resided in Waterford for the past 2 years and spent the prior 10 years traveling the United States with her husband. Laurie enjoyed traveling and taking pictures of the countryside. Laurie's greatest joy in life was her family and her beloved Grandchildren, who lit up her life. Laurie was preceded in death by her mother Lura Carlton. She is the beloved wife of Christopher Bismarck, devoted Mother of Dena (Timothy) Frye, Dawn (Michael) Green, Clifford (Chelsea) Frye; Cherished Grandmother of Melisa, Ashley, Karissa, Amanda, Charla, Jenna, and Aubrey. Also survived by her Father Dwayne Carlton, Siblings Steve, Debbie and Mike and In-laws Horst, Lynda and Jennifer. The family would like to thank the staff at the Hospice Inn for the caring and compassionate support during Laurie's stay. Calling hours will be held from 10am to 12pm on Saturday, November 1st at the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home LLC 1855 12th Avenue Watervliet. Service will immediately follow calling hours at 12pm.
