Edward D. Hussey

Edward D. Hussey Cohoes – Edward D. Hussey passed away on November 6, 2020. Son of the late Paul J. Hussey and Sandra J. Gleason Martin. Survivors include his children Colin E. (Xainna Sun) Hussey, Erin (Rodrigo) Calderon; siblings, Christine Martin, Nancy Whitman and Paul Hussey; brother in-law Kevin Martin. Edward is survived by five grandchildren, William and Waylon Hussey and Liam, Logan and Miguel Calderon; nieces and nephews, Todd Suriano Jr., Alexandria Suriano, Maeve Cutter, Kyle Martin and Tim Martin. Edward joins his mother Sandra and his father Paul. Edward enjoyed listening to The Beatles, a good cup of coffee and watching Notre Dame games. He loved Christmas and would often play Santa at the local mall and Hewitts in his younger years. Ed also enjoyed camping and all that it entailed. The campfire, fishing, even setting up the tent was always fun for him. He is missed and loved very much. Family and friends are invited to visit with Edward’s family on Wednesday from 5 – 6:30 pm at the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, 510 Pawling avenue, Troy. A grave side service with military honors will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Ronald Mc Donald House would be appreciated.
