Elaine G. Morris

MORRIS, Elaine Gloria ("Mema"), age 76 of Niskayuna, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was a 1961 graduate of Linton High School and retired from Joseph E Mastrianni Section 8 Rental Assistance Office in Schenectady. Elaine was always a fan of solving the New York Time's Sunday Crossword puzzles, gardening in the summer, and spending time with her family. Elaine is survived by her children: Dina Rice (née Morris), John A. Morris II, and David Morris Jr. (Echo); her grandchildren: Nicole O'Bomsawin and Samantha Morris; her brother Richard (Carol) Cammarota; her niece, Robin Devine; and her nephews: Mark Cammarota and Giancarlo Stampalia. Predeceased by her husband, David Morris; parents: Stephen and Mary Cammarota; and sister: Gloria Stampalia. Due to COVID-19, services will not be held at this time. However, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Elaine G. Morris.
