James J. Oswald Sr.

James J. Oswald Sr. of Cohoes died unexpectedly in St. Peter's hospital on May 8th, 2025. Son of the late Antoinett Charles Gaunay Oswald.

James was a talented contractor for Oakwood Builder, Das Mac General Contacting and Intext Construction where he was lovingly referred to as the "VP of operations" in their two-man operation.

Beloved father of James J. Oswald Jr. Additionally James is survived by his siblings Michael (Marianne) Danaher, Daniel Danaher, Leo Danaher Lori (Lou) Cicciari, Lisa (Ed Donnelly) Danaher and Linda Danaher.

In addition to his parents James is predeceased by his brother Theodore Oswald and nephew Justin Martell.

Family and friends are invited and may visit in the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home LLC., 1855 12th Avenue, Watervliet on Thursday May 15th from 5pm until 7pm.
