Jeff A King

Jeff A. King Jr. King Jr., Jeff A. - Cohoes -Jeff A. King Jr., 49, Passed away unexpectedly on May 31st, 2017. Son of Jeff A. King Sr. and the late Mary Teta King. Jeff attended Columbia High School and received a certificate in HVAC from Hudson Valley Community College. Spending quality time with his children and watching them grow was very important to Jeff. He was proud of their accomplishments. Jeff loved spending time with his granddaughter Zoey, whom he dearly loved. He looked forward to family functions with the entire family present. He loved watching football and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. He also enjoyed watching basketball and was a fan of LeBron James when LeBron played on the Miami Heat. Jeff enjoyed a good meal at Don and Paul's in Waterford and could always go for a meatball lunch special at Testo's Italian Restaurant in Lansingburgh. Working with his father for over 20 years at J. King & Sons doing heating, plumbing and electrical, Jeff also enjoyed owning his own carpet cleaning and vending machine business. His son Jeff King III enjoyed working with his dad for 12 years. In addition to his father, Jeff is survived by his fiance` Deborah Martino, loving children Anne (Michael) McNeff, Jeff (Keanna Gang) King III, Samantha King, Nickolas King, Brook King and Abigail Eichmann-King; his siblings Lisa (Daniel) Smith, Michael King, Christina King, his former brother-in-law Isaiah Sorenson and his devoted friend and "son" Andrew O'Brien. He is also survived by his granddaughter Zoey McNeff, nieces and nephews Kevin, Rachel and Renee Smith, Lyllie, Devin and Michael Jr. King, his former wife Patricia (Prespare) Bush and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7th at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Watervliet. Friends are invited to visit with Jeff's family on Tuesday, June 6th, 4 - 7 pm, at the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home, llc, 1855 12th Avenue Watervliet.
