Kathy E. Hughes

Kathy E. Hughes of Rensselaer passed away unexpectedly Sunday January 11th, 2026 in her home. Daughter of the late James of Anna Conlin Hughes.

A career waitress in several area diners, Kathy spent the greatest amount of her career working in Gateway diner in Albany. An avid lover of the beach, Kathy enjoined her time away from work and was always a great time to have around, and had a love for "Gossip".

Kathy is survived by son Brian (Kyra) Pahler; her grandchildren Jordan, Janae, Xavier, Paris Pahler, Justin and Jasmine Levanites. Additionally Kathy is survived by her companion Gary Webb; her brother James (Vicki) Conde and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kathy is predeceased by her son Kurt Levanites.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Kathy's family in the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home, LLC., 1855 12th Avenue, Watervliet on Tuesday January 20th from 11am to 1pm .
