Kevin S. Johnson

Kevin Scott Johnson, 49, of Albany NY passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday December 20th, 2025. He was born 11/27/1976 at the former Mercy Hospital in Watertown to Bruce and Joan Kelly Johnson.

He graduated from Indian River Central School in1994 and later attended Jefferson Community College and SUNY Albany graduating from both with honors. He worked as an assistant manager at local McDonalds, as a team member at Target and Stewarts Shoppes in Albany and for the last 3 years at the Nanotech Center in Albany for NY Creates working as a technician in a clean room.

He was an avid sports fan, rooting for the 49ers and Lakers and as an avid supporter and fan of SUNY Albany sports, especially football, men's and women's basketball and lacrosse. He was a regular presence at Albany home games and traveled with the football team on several occasions. 

Kevin is survived by his parents Bruce and Joan (Kelly) Johnson of Evans Mills, a brother Brian (Jessica) Johnson of Louisa VA, several aunts and uncles, a nephew Trey (Kaylen) Johnson, Louisa VA., a niece Ashton (Paige) Chewning and a great-nephew Weston Reed Chewning Louisa VA. He was pre-deceased by his sister Kelli Lynn Johnson and his grandparents.

At this time no services or calling hours are planned.

A Memorial Service and Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Evans Mills will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
