Linda Christian, a devoted daughter, sister, family woman, and pillar of kindness, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 20, 2025, at the age of 59, just weeks shy of her 60th birthday on August 30th. Her loving spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
As the eldest of four siblings, Linda embodied compassion and care, always putting others before herself. Her faith in God guided her to pray for those in need, and she found joy in helping the less fortunate without expecting anything in return. Her family was her rock, and she cherished every moment spent with them, especially her mother, Cleo, and her siblings.
Linda's dedication to her loved ones was unwavering. She was always there to lend a helping hand, whether it was supporting her mother, caring for her siblings, or simply being a listening ear. Her younger brother John often relied on her for physical labor, and her sister Traci cherished her guidance and love.
A 12th-grade graduate of Troy High School, Linda spent nearly two decades as a beloved local cab driver, known for her warm demeanor and ability to connect with everyone she met. Her love for animals was evident in the way she cared for her dogs and cats, finding solace and joy in their company.
Linda is survived by her mother, Cleo Collins; her younger brother, John (Terri) Christian; her younger sister, Traci Christian; her younger brother, James Christian; uncles Thomas King, Jeff (late Mary) King, Robert (late Betty) King, several nieces and nephews; and her extended family, all of whom she loved and touched with her kindness. Linda was predeceased by her aunt Laureen King and her uncle Ralph King Jr.
She will be remembered for her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and kind heart. Her legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Rest in peace, Linda. “Your memory will truly be cherished forever."
