Lynne Marie Strack, 69, passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2026. Born on February 6, 1957, in Troy, New York, Lynne was the eldest child of the late John and Patricia (Ervin) Finch.
Lynne’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted and loving mother to Heather (Tod) Parent, Stephen (Debbie) Strack, and Jennifer (Sara) Strack. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Ty Parent, Bella Strack, Kayden Strack, Alexandra Strack, and Stephen Strack, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
As the oldest of seven siblings, Lynne shared a lifelong bond with Karen Theresa Finch, Patricia Ann Finch, Terry Ann Finch, John Anthony Finch, Mark William Finch, and Robin Ann Finch. She also cherished her honorary brother, Richie (Carol) Rivetz. She is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, including Christopher (Tara) Finch, Shawn (Tina) Finch, Alyia Finch, Layla Oathout, Bella “Fizz” Finch, and honorary nephew Jake Rivetz.
Lynne’s life centered around her children and grandchildren. Family meant everything to her, and she poured her heart into those she loved. She found joy in music and loved attending concerts, and she enjoyed spending time watching movies. Above all, Lynne’s Christian faith was the foundation of her life. Her faith gave her strength, guided her path, and shaped the way she loved others.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing she is at peace in the arms of her Savior. She was our mom, our Grammy, our steady place, and while her time with us feels far too short, the impact of her love is everlasting and will carry on for generations.
