Margaret "Peggy" Ann Goulet (Mullin), age 68, passed away on December 26, 2025, following a brief illness. She was born on January 6, 1957, in Albany, New York.
Peggy attended Vincentian Institute and went on to build a long and dedicated career with the New York State Department of Workers' Compensation, from which she retired.
She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond M. Mullin Sr. and Marguerite T. (DeRusso) Mullin, and by her brother, Dennis Mullin (Mary) of Albany, NY.
Peggy is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Ron Goulet; her children, Krista Cramer (Brad Capelli) of Porter Corners, NY, Melissa Thompson (Brian Welsh) of Watervliet, NY, and Stephen Thompson (Samantha) of Clifton Park, NY; her beloved grandchildren, Ella Bergeron, Robert Welsh, S. Michael Thompson, Jr., and Anders Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.
She is further survived by her siblings: Raymond M. Mullin Jr. (Maryanne Hart) of Charlton, NY; Kevin Mullin (Mildred) of Wallingford, VT; Terry Herbert (Kerry) of Las Vegas, NV; and Patrick Mullin (late Lucinda) of Lexington, MA.
Peggy was well known for her intellect and quick wit. She cherished spending time with family and her many friends. She was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan. Of her many pursuits, Peggy loved the music of Rush and Jethro Tull, among many others. She enjoyed the works of Stephen King, and was not averse to visiting a decent casino. Peggy will be remembered by all for her loving heart and infectious smile.
A private service was held for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
