Maureen K. Lynch

Maureen K. Lynch formerly of Watervliet passed away peacefully following a long illness in Shaker Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Monday April 13th with her loving family by her side. Daughter of the late John and Kathleen Lynch.

Maureen was a longtime resident of Watervliet and a graduate of the Watervliet High School. Following high school Maureen went on to a long career with the NYS Insurance Fund where she retired. In her off time she enjoyed traveling and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Maureen is survived by her son Jon (Elizabeth) Lynch and sister Penny (Late James) Ritrovato. Additionally Maureen leaves behind her 3 Grandchildren Lily, Harper, and Connor Lynch.

In addition to her parents and brother in law Maureen is predeceased by her brothers John Lynch Jr. (d.2024) and Tommy Lynch (d. 2019).

Family and friends are invited and may call in the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home LLC., 1855 12th Avenue, Watervliet on Monday April 20th 5-7pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday April 21st at 10am. Interment will immediately follow.
