Nyree Tashana Oquendo

Nyree Oquendo passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 7th, 2024, at the age 40 at her home. Nyree was a veteran of the US Navy, serving aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. She was Certified Surgical Technician at Albany Medical Center hospital, as well as a licensed massage therapist and esthetician. Nyree was lively, vibrant and always the center of attention and a friend to everyone she met.

Nyree is survived by her loving family, a precious 5-year-old daughter, Izabella, and a host of friends and Nyree has joined in heaven with her precious sea prince and beautiful son, Izrael.

Please join us to honor her in a Service of Love on Thursday, November 14th, 2024, at Life. Church Albany, 687 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham. Full military honors will be presented at the conclusion of the service.
