Patricia Donovan

Patricia Donovan of Poughkeepsie passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday September 4th, in Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. Daughter of the late Clayton and Mae Gloria Lewis.

Patricia worked as a bookkeeper for the Poughkeepsie Grand and eventually retired from The Pines Nursing Center. She enjoyed the quiet life while spending time with her dear friends and especially her two cats. Her favorite pastimes included jigsaw puzzles, watching Gunsmoke and going to the diner on Fridays with Sheila.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Laura Cullen and Michele Bennett. Additionally, Patricia leaves behind her grandchildren; Sara (James Moore) and Oli (Carmen) Greco Cullen.

In addition to Patricia's parents she was predeceased by her brother Clayton Shaeffer.

In following Patricia's wishes, cremation was held privately and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

Patricia's family wishes to thank the caring staff from the Hudson Valley Hospice, who made Pat's final days peaceful.
