Hendricks, Robert F. - Selkirk

Robert F. Hendricks age 61 of Selkirk succumbed to his long-term illness on April 26, 2024. Son of the late James and Mary Hendricks.

Robert was a graduate of Shenendehowa high school and went on to answer the call of service to his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1984. Robert was an avid player of pickleball and enjoyed music and reading, and also enjoyed card games with his family and had a fondness for dogs. In Robert's words he had "Never met a dog he didn't absolutely adore."

Robert is survived by his brothers; Stephen (Leslie) Hendricks, John (Beverly) Hendricks, Michael Hendricks, and James Hendricks, Sisters; Margaret Shambo and Kathleen (Noel) Penalver. Also survived by his close friend Lillith Stoessel.

In addition to his parents Robert is preceded in death by his sisters Mary Ellen Smith and Elizabeth Brzoska.

A celebration of life will be held privately for Robert to remember what a kind soul he truly was.

Robert is resting peacefully in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
