Stephen A. Momrow

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen A. Momrow on 1/2/26. Stephen was born on May 31, 1957, in Albany NY. He was the son of Albert and Marian Momrow and was predeceased by his brothers Jay and Christian. He is survived by his sister Dawn Montavon, cousins, and various nieces and nephews. Steve graduated from SUNY Albany and was employed by Mayfair and Stickley before opening his own design store, Moose Creek Limited, with his partner Patricia DeMento. Following the Moose Creek closure he relocated to Pittsfield MA to work at Paul Rich and Son until his retirement. Steve had a big laugh and great sense of humor. He was a very talented and generous designer. He enjoyed time with friends and the fellowship of his choral groups. A very special thank you to two special people without whose help Steve would not have been able to have enjoyed the independence he had, nephew Marc Griffin and friend Ann Devine.

He is now at peace and free of his illness. There will be no memorial service. Please remember him in your own special way.
